Actually it’s a memory from my youth of a Lyrebird book I literally loved to bits. It was for a long time a way for me to attach to nature when I otherwise couldn’t. I loved the mysterious nature of their ability to copy any sound they hear and was deeply saddened by the destruction of their habitat.
